At this workshop, suitable for anyone looking to digitize historic materials, participants will learn about key concepts in digitization, tools & equipment to use, and digital preservation. In the afternoon, you will gain a deeper understanding of digitization options for historic materials through discussion and hands-on practice with three digitization set-ups representing different approaches, outcomes and costs. The relative merits and drawbacks of each approach will be discussed.
