The Vermont Heritage Organization or Museum will:    

  1. Create a visually effective history exhibit, and consider doing so in conjunction with our theme (“H2O: The Power of Water in Vermont History”).
  2. Set up the exhibit during the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday, June 17.
  3. Staff the exhibit during Expo hours, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19.
  4. Distribute provided promotional material such as posters, postcards, and press releases in local communities.
  5. Communicate with the Vermont Historical Society during preparations for Vermont History Expo, designating one volunteer or staff member as the main coordinator to receive all information. If the main coordinator is not available during the winter months, please provide a secondary point of contact. 
The Vermont Historical Society will:  
  1. Provide an 8’ x 8’ or similar space in a covered area.   
  2. Place appropriate advertising and publicity for the event, and provide participating organizations with promotional materials.   
  3. Provide 24 hour security at the fairgrounds for security of exhibit materials. However, no personal items should be left at booths at any time.   
  4. Provide liability insurance for the entire event to cover accidents.  
  5. Provide your organization with 4 complimentary Saturday passes and 4 complimentary Sunday passes to Expo.   
  6. Host a breakfast reception for exhibitors on the Tunbridge Fairgrounds at 8:30 am Sunday, June 19th.
